Luxury Penthouse with Balconies and Spectatular Sea Views Overlooking Torquay Bay

The incredible sea-facing penthouse is on the 3rd (top) floor of a modern cliff-top building; its elevated position providing an impressive vantage point. There is something therapeutic about gazing at the glistening sea lapping at the shores of Torquay beach down below. Relax and take in the glorious view. Or, within just a few minutes, you can be enjoying the property’s private hillside garden, with a traditional Victorian viewing platform. Through a private locked gate, the garden also provides you with direct access to Princess Gardens, a stone’s throw from the promenade and all that Torquay has to offer.

With the marina’s eateries and boat tours, the beach, theatre, bars, as well as high street shops, there is something to entertain everybody close by. Bear in mind that if you choose to stroll down, rather than take the car, you’ll be walking uphill to get back. Perhaps seeing as you’ll be on holiday, you might choose to take a cab. The good news is that there’s a lift to take you up to the top floor if you don’t fancy the stairs.

To avoid any surprises, our property does exactly what it says on the tin. We’ve taken care of everything, so that when you arrive you can settle straight into holiday mode or crack on with the workload if you’ve opted for a ‘working holiday’ by the sea.

Every room is well proportioned and arranged with your comfort in mind. The two double bedrooms have plenty of storage space and luxury king size mattresses for a great night’s sleep. The beds are perfectly placed for comfortable viewing of the smart Freeview TVs found in each room. There to help you nod off – or perhaps to get you going of a day!

Like the rest of the flat, the living room is high-ceilinged, light and modern. With the breakfast bar ‘sea viewing platform,’ double doors leading onto the balcony, and 65” smart Freeview TV with ambilight, there is plenty to peer at, whatever the time of day! You might just prefer to curl up with a book and piece of fudge, snooze or play one of our board games in a safe haven of relaxation.

Underfloor heating, heated towel rails and illuminated demist mirrors exist in both the main and en suite bathrooms. The rain shower in the main bathroom is super spacious.

The kitchen is also a great size, equipped with everything you could need to whip up a tasty meal, to be enjoyed al fresco on the lounge’s balcony, on your lap or up the table. If you don’t fancy cooking, no problem. We’ve prepared a list of our favourite takeaways which will deliver to you. Plus, many recommended restaurants are within easy walking distance – a full range are available to suit all tastes. We do advise booking if you want to eat out at peak times. You’ll find a list of options in your welcome brochure.

Whether you choose to travel to Torquay by train or car, both options are convenient. The train station is a 15 minutes’ walk away (about half the journey uphill), or 5 minutes in a taxi. If driving, the property comes with a secure underground parking space on the lower ground floor – it fits a Range Raver Evoque, but anything bigger would probably be too tight a squeeze. The good news is that parking is unrestricted and free on surrounding streets, so if you’ve got one, you can park your 4X4 outside.

Our sea-facing property is comprised of:

Lounge – large balcony with 4 seats and 2 side tables, breakfast bar with stools to soak up the seaview, dining table with 4 chairs, 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, 65” smart ambilight freeview TV, and bluetooth speaker.

Kitchen – electric oven, hob, and extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, blender, steamer, and toaster.

Master Bedroom – smaller balcony, 2 x bucket chairs and table to admire the view, king size bed, 43” smart ambilight freeview TV, chest of drawers, 2 x bedside cabinets, and ample cupboard space.

Main Bathroom – underfloor heating, huge rain shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Guest Bedroom – king size bed, 43” smart ambilight freeview TV, cupboard space, bedside cabinets x 2 and chest of drawers.

Guest Bedroom En-suite Bathroom – underfloor heating, shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Parking – secure lower ground level parking space. Fits a Range Rover Evoque but unlikely to fit anything large. Good news is that there is free parking on the roads outside.

House Rules

Due to the risk of fires of electric vehicles, we ask you to kindly refrain from parking or charging electric bikes and e-scooters in the building. Thank you for your understanding.
